The workshop requirement
The supplied installation record identifies TM-370A collectors with HEPA post-filters and water-based cutting fluid. The reported requirement was to address mist escaping from the machines and the resulting poor visible workshop environment.
Mounting and connection shown in the photograph
The DMG MORI branding and DMU 50 marking are visible on the nearest machine. A triangular metal bracket supports the collector high on the side of the enclosure. The black flexible hose bends from the collector inlet into the machine side panel. Another similar collector arrangement is visible on the adjacent machine.
Reported site result
TINME reports that the workshop appeared visibly clearer after installation and that no visible mist escape was observed.
Planning a similar installation
This case documents side-bracket mounting rather than a collector placed directly on the machine roof or on a separate floor stand. The photograph does not establish the allowable bracket load or panel strength. For another machine, the support structure, enclosure connection and service clearance need a separate installation review.
